Interior Design is the symbiotic relationship between art and science, form and function, the playful and the practical.
Research & Development
Interior Design brings together the structural elements of architecture with the aesthetics of the creative arts. We have the structural floor plans, blueprints. Rigid, formed and necessary. The white space is where we find the flow of movement and energy. This is where the user will exist.
I begin to think about the footprint of the 56. I imagine walking in and around it. I push the elements out of the way so that I might walk freely among them. I discover a symbioses between the two numbers, that when a 5 is reduced to its most basic form and pushed apart, a 6 appears flowing through the once empty space.
